Wiebke Ebeling

Wiebke has a background in the biological sciences and completed a PhD in Neuroscience at the Australian National University in Canberra. She is also a qualified workshop facilitator for career development. Since 2010, she has worked in education & outreach in various science areas at several Australian universities.

In 2018, she took on the role of Centre Manager for Marine Energy Research Australia (MERA) – then known as the Wave Energy Research Centre – based at the UWA regional campus in Albany, in the historic railway station now operated as the Great Southern Marine Research Facility, under Wiebke’s management. She is also a Board Director at the Southern Ports Authority, a State Government Trading Enterprise.
