Oscar Delbeke obtained his Master of Science in electromechanical engineering from the University of Ghent in 2021, majoring in mechanical energy engineering and completing a minor in sustainable development. After his studies, he started pursuing a PhD at KU Leuven as part of EnergyVille.

His research is focused on the potential of offshore floating photovoltaics and their electrical integration with offshore wind farms.
