Mikaela Freeman is a research scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and she has a Masters in marine policy. Her work focuses on marine renewable energy, particularly environmental and socio-economic effects; outreach and engagement with regulators, stakeholders, and communities; and co-location of marine renewable energy with aquaculture.
