I am Mithun Deb, an Earth Scientist at the Marine and Coastal Research Laboratory under the Coastal Sciences Division of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Currently, I am working on numerical modeling of estuarine processes, specifically tidal hydrodynamics, turbulence, and wake effects.

The ongoing projects aim to help assess marine renewable energy resources and evaluate the impact of climate change on hurricane-induced flooding, both in the U.S. and worldwide.
