Dr Chun Han Ko

National Chung Hsing University

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan, with a profound dedication to advancing the field of coastal engineering. My research tackles the multifaceted challenges associated with coastal protection measures, harbor structures, and the dynamic environmental changes impacting coastlines.

Beyond the realm of coastal engineering, my academic pursuits extend into the innovative development of renewable energy technologies. I have been actively involved in the research and development of oscillating water column (OWC) wave energy converters, a pioneering approach to harnessing the untapped potential of wave power.

Additionally, my work in the application of Microbially Induced Calcite Precipitation (MICP) technology showcases a commitment to sustainable engineering solutions, while my contributions to the development of wind turbines which applied to OWC devices.
