Paul Winn

Hunter Community Environment Centre

Paul Winn has been an advocate for the conservation of nature for over 3 decades. His work has succeeded in securing number of large areas of new terestrial and marine conservation areas in NSW.

For the past 20 years he has worked to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions through a transition in the way we produce electricity from coal to to one that relies on the sun and the wind.

He followed the global climate talks for Greenpeace from Bali to Cancoon, and has emersed himself in many issues that cut across biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation. Recently, working towards ensuring our transition from carbon to renewable is environmentally sustainable.
