Dr Gholam Reza Emad

Dr G. Reza Emad is an academic member of the University of Tasmania-Australian Maritime College. His research mainly focuses on the role of humans in the maritime industry and the skill and competency development of its workforce.

The projects in his research centre C-HELM (Centre for Research in Cognitive Human Element in Maritime Domain) are currently focusing on the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies in the maritime domain and its impending changes and challenges that directly or indirectly involve the human factor and sustainability.
