Arielle Cardinal

National Renewable Energy Laboratory

Arielle is a Senior Project Manager at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and works for NREL’s Water Power Program which includes marine energy and hydropower technologies. In her role, Arielle leads the Water Power Program’s workforce development activities which includes managing the annual Marine Energy Collegiate Competition.

She also serves as the Secretary of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group of the International Electrotechnical Commission’s (IEC’s) Technical Committee 114: Marine energy, which publishes technical standards for the sector. Prior to joining NREL, Arielle worked in the hospitality sector and received a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
