Prof Martin Wosnik

Martin Wosnik is a Professor of Mechanical and Ocean Engineering at the University of New Hampshire where he also directs the Center for Ocean Engineering. He is the founding Director of the Atlantic Marine Energy Center (AMEC, https://www.amec-us.org/), a National Marine Energy Center funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.
Dr. Wosnik has over 30 years of experience in the area of fluid dynamics and ocean renewable energy. He has led model testing campaigns in tow and wave tanks, large wind tunnels, and at open water tidal energy and wave energy test sites. He is a Subject Matter Expert for the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) for TC 114 Marine energy – Wave, tidal and other water current converters.
