Dr Thusyanthan (Thushy) is Global Offshore Director with Venterra Group (GDG). He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE), Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Chartered Marine Engineer (CMarEng) with over 20 years of experience in energy sector.

Thushy has extensive offshore project experience around the world, working with clients, contractors and designers in conceptual to detailed design stages. He has successfully delivered complex multi-disciplinary projects around the world. He also has expert witness experience in international arbitrations.

He has over 100 technical publications in journals and conferences and is recipient of “John Henry King Medal” and “Bill Curtin Medal” from Institution of Civil Engineers UK. Thushy graduated with a first-class degree and PhD from University of Cambridge. He held several key positions, including roles at Atkins, Saudi Aramco as well as having been a lecturer at the University of Cambridge.
